About your Job:

In this role you will develop, negotiate and grow QR’s global corporate sales, through Travel Management Companies while ensuring the revenue adds value to the airline. You will work with the stations both on a regional as well as a local level in identifying, developing and maintaining Travel Management Companies and set network parameters for cost of sale with a focus on reducing the airline’s cost of dealing with TMCs.

Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Grow TMC business and ensure exploitation of commercial potential of product developments; also ensure cost transparency, flexibility and control. 
  • Acts as a liaison between the global sales force and the various HQ departments to ensure expeditious turnaround time for the decision making process relating to sales initiatives.
  • Support the development of strategies to ensure the right structure, standards, processes and tools are in place to develop, grow and maintain TMC business globally.
  • Responsible to drive corporate sales performance through the implementation of a Corporate Sales strategy across the QR network, maximising revenue contribution to exceed revenue targets.

About you:

 You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of job related experience: a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the travel industry with at least 3 years in a similar corporate sales management role.  You must have experience in selling airline products, with a focus on corporate sales.

The key requirements for this role include strong people management skills, budgetary and planning experience, strong influencing and negotiation skills as well as a systematic approach to problem solving. You must have strong commercial sensibility and the ability to successfully negotiate contracts.

We are looking for proactive, dynamic and passionate individual with excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills that are focused on results and works well under pressure. You must have strong quantitative and qualitative skills and advanced analytical capabilities. You must have the ability to lead and influence at senior management level.
