About Your Job:

As a Lead Duty Transport and Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for controlling the day to day running of line maintenance Transport Operation department. You will ensure the department has an efficient staff to meet the operation requirement, within the agreed standards, meeting all operating targets and leading people. You will responsible in providing duty shift management to the Line Maintenance Airside Transportation Teams in order to achieve 100% movement across HIA ramp area.

You will oversee transportation, including its assets and employees in order to be in full compliance with the QR Group and State of Qatar rules and regulations. You will manage the operational aspects of transportation projects and serves as liaison between the supplier and Line Maintenance management. You will ensure all accidents are covered with the proper paperwork to process for repairs. You will manage to provide the required insurance for all Line Maintenance vehicles. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new systems and procedures to improve efficiency. You will Plan or implement material flow management system to meet logistic requirements.

About You:

To be considered in this role you must hold Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience working in a multi-cultural environment and international environment. You should have previous work experience leading a team of Transport Operations staff in the position of Supervisor.

You should have good knowledge on Airside Vehicle operation procedures, vehicle maintenance planning, knowledge of vehicle and driver planning and scheduling and experience of working with third party logistic suppliers. Candidates having experience on Transport operations would be given preference. You should have driving experience which includes customer processing, route delivery procedures along with security and operational procedures.

You should have strong English communication skills and an ability to communicate in oral and written Arabic will be preferred.
