About the role:

In the role of Junior Cashier, you will ensure accurate cash collection and prompt sales reporting.  You will monitor safe keep and control the sales collection received to passengers at departures and arrivals. Furthermore, you will ensure passengers receive total quality service by adhering safety policy and security standards established by the company. 

Key accountabilities of the role:
  • Cash handling.  Accountable for cash shortages i.e. Cash shortages will be deducted from salary.
  • Sorting of cash collection and tallying the same with sales amount.
  • Shift wise sales reporting and submission of cash collection as per SOP.
  • Acceptance of foreign currencies in accordance with finance guidelines.
  • Ensures that all provided services are accounted in a timely manner.

 

Experience required:

Qualifications:

Essential

  • High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min compulsory education)

 

Previous Experience:

  • Entry level – up to 2 years of job-related work experience required

 

Job Specific Skills:

Essential

  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge in other language is an advantage.
  • Know how to handle various foreign currencies.
  • Basic know how to tally sales report and cash collected.
