As the principle direct sales chanel and reporting to the Manager Cargo Global Accounts; the Global Key Account Manager maintains and develops relationships with QR Cargo's largest and most strategically important customers. Assigned to three to five named customers and based at Head Office, the GKAM is responsible for achieving target revenue, volume quotients and the delivery of strategic account objectives as prescribed in the customer strategy and account plan across all regions.
The responsibilities include establishing and maintaining productive, close working relationships with all key decision-makers within the assigned customer portfolio. Acts as the primary relationship custodian for the assigned accounts globally. you will also maintain a controlled account plan for each assigned customer organization, delineating the customer strategy and the corresponding sales activities, resources allocation, accountable personnel, timelines and progress records. you will also oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
