About the Job:

As a Lead Cargo Quality Operations  Officer you will be responsible to establish  &  provide  cargo operational  standards,  recommended practices  to deliver  quality service  in-accordance with customer requirement, the organisational policies and regulatory requirement in an effective  manner and ensuring safety. You will implement, monitor & measure the processes against policies, conduct quality audits and report results.

 Accountability : 

  • You will be responsible for carrying out investigations for safety and security, including report writing and data/evidence collection.
  • Coordinate and participate in audits or inspections of the hub or network stations from time to time. This may include pre-start up or charter/ad-hoc events.
  • Coordinate and lead risk assessments and associated actions/follow ups.
  • Compile data and evidence of safety and security historical events and to support new projects.
  • Provide feedback and learning to the network through a shared learning program.
  • Support through any other work or project the security and safety aspects to cargo operations.
  • Act as management representative for quality management system & procedures to meet the standard of IS09001-200B &  IOSA standard.
About You::

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of job related experience and a minimum 5-6 years in the airline industry. You will need to hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent thereof. An auditor’s basic qualification, i.e. IOSA/ISAGO auditor equals will be an advantage. You must have complete safety and security training courses and have knowledge of the cargo industry, knowledge of airport handling, warehouse operations and experience managing discrepancies. You should have good PC skills.

It will be preferred that you have good communication skills,ability to delegate work, set clear directions and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
